Where Can I Find Tooling To Achieve Behind Shoulder Threading For Cnc ?

The shoulder is only approx. 7mm deep but our current tools with indexable inserts won’t achieve this.
I need a slim, single point 1/2″ BSP tip, similar to a parting-off tool but can’t seem to find a supplier.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Tooling Information and Machine Tooling Information Can Now Be Found on Tooling Webpage

Tooling information is the newest section on Ivan’s website that is built around a community of CNCers. This new tooling webpage is just one of 4 sections that all fall under Ivan’s “Machining” category. The other sections that join the Machine Tooling section are Machining, Milling, and Turning. This webpage that has everything a user needs to know about CNC can be found at the following webpage that is free to access no mater if you are a registered users of Ivan’s site or not. The website’s address is the following link: Machine Tooling

Here is some information that Ivan has listed on the Tooling section of the website that is located at: Tooling Information

Ivan states, “I alluded to the different types of machining in the previous section. There are different machining processes that are generally defined by what the machine does.

Here are a few examples:
Drilling – Drill presses, mills, hand drills, etc.
Tooling – Drill bit
Routing – Wood router, table router, edge router, etc
Tooling – Router bits
Milling – Mill, Bridgeport, 4- axis mill, 5-axis mill, vertical mill, horizontal mill, etc.
Tooling – End mills, ball mills, ballnose mills, fly cutters, etc
Plasma cutting – Plasma cutter
Tooling – Plasma torch
Cutting – Chop saw, hand saw, band saw, cold saw
Tooling – Circular blades, band type blades
Grinding – Surface grinder, grinder, Timesaver, belt grinder
Tooling – Grinding belts, grinding wheels
Turning – Metal lathe, wood lathe, mini lathe, bench top lathe, etc.
Tooling – Turning tools, parting tools, boring tools, drill bits “

Lathe Turning Information, Wood Lathe Information, and Metal Lathe Information Released

Lathes have been around for years and Lathe turning is very popular. Hence the reason why Ivan has just introduced a new Lathe Turning webpage with everything a user needs to know on Lathe Turning. The new Lathe Turning webpage is part of a new machining section that not only has Lathe Turning information, but also Machining, Milling, and Tooling information. This new Lathe Turning webpage can be found at: Lathe Turning

Here is a glimpse of some of the information that Ivan has added to the Lathe Turning webpage that is found at: Lathe Information

Ivan states, “A lathe is a type of machine that produces cylindrical part. It makes parts like shafts and columns. You load it with "Stock" before you begin. A lathe spins the stock and a tool takes off material or machines it. When it is done you have a part that is built to certain specifications. There are a number of different types of lathes. There are wood lathes, metal lathes and CNC Lathes, which can be for wood or metal. Lathes have been around since the Industrial Revolution. They were the original machines of production. The first ones were water powered. “ Ivan has also added some very good lathe articles from various sources in the lathing community. These articles are on topics such as Lathe Accuracy, Inverted Lathe, Twin Spindle Lathe, Lathe Chuck, Lathe History, and much more. Find the webpage at: Lathe Turning in order to see for yourself all of the information Ivan has added on Lathe Turning.

About CNC Information: CNC Information is a community CNC website that brings user into a deeper understanding of CNC.

Machining Information Just Released on Machine Technique Information Website

Machining Information and Machining techniques now has been added to the new Machining webpage that Ivan has added to his CNC machine webpage. Ivan has quite a bit of experience with Machining and he starts off this new Machining webpage with some basic definitions of Machining. A user can visit the machining website for free, without being a member, at Machining Information

Ivan’s Machining webpage begins with Ivan taking the complex topic of machining and breaking it down into something that users can understand. Ivan tells users that Machining is “When a controller converts signals from your computer into motion, your machine will begin to move. You are now in the process of machining. Machining generally is cutting or removing of material. Most of the time we associate machining with metal, but you can also machine plastic or route wood. Working with wood or plastic is basically the same as working with metal, but faster. “ Users can view more information on Machining at the following Machining webpage that is on CNC Information at: Machining Information.

Ivan also has a section where he goes through the many different “players” in machining, such as the spindle, tooling, material, clamp, cutting fluid, and of course CNC. In addition to this section of machining “players” Ivan also has plenty of articles that allow the CNC user to gather further information from various sources on the process of machining, new machining advances, and machining trends.

New CNC Links Page

CNC Links have now been added to the CNCInformation.com website at: CNC Link . This CNC Link page is set to be the premiere CNC Links page in the industry. Ivan Irons has set up the CNC links page to help CNC users everywhere find the best resources in the CNC industry.

This Links page is in the beginning stages but as users contribute their favorite links to the CNC Link page, the links are only set to get better. You can view the CNC Links at: Some of the linking categories are as follows:

Personal CNC Websites

CNC Tooling CNC Retrofits

CNC Machining

Rapid Prototoyping

CNC News Groups

CNC Yahoo Groups

CNC Controllers

CAD Software

The list goes on and on and just about covers all of the CNC Categories you can think of. Ivan Irons of CNC Links has also has the ability built into his CNC Links page to exchange links with him. On the top of the CNC Links page, there is a link that says “Exchange Links.” This allows you to contact Ivan and let him know you would like to exchange links and what your website is about.
