The popular Learn CNC Video Series from Ivan Irons is now complete and added at CNCInformation.com. There is a special category page at CNCInformation.com that hosts these CNC Video’s and Ivan has just added the CNC Video transcripts for additional learning.

This CNC Information category has all the E-Course Videos and CNC Course Transcripts located in it so whether you have not seen the videos or want to re-watch a particular video, they are right at your fingertips. The category page that houses these video’s and transcripts can be found at:
There are 7 Days worth of CNC Videos that cover CNC Design, CAD, CAM, Machining, G-Code, and much much more.
Day 1: This video outline what the e-course is and what it covers. The video also talks about the 5 steps to working with CNC. The steps are CNC Design, CAD, CAM, Control and Machining.
Day 2: In this CNC ECourse Video we go over the first step in the CNC Process. The first step is CNC Design.
Day 3: In this CNC Basics Video we go over CAD. CAD Stands for Computer Aided Design.
Day 4: Here on the 4th day we talk about CAM. CAM stands for Computer Aided Manufacturing.
Day 5: Day 5 is all about CNC Control. CNC Control is made up of three parts: The CNC Control Computer, CNC Control Software and the actually CNC Controller.
Day 6: On Day 6 we learn about CNC Machining. This is where the rubber meets the road.
Day 7: This is the 7th and final day of the Learn CNC Basics E-Course. Today is a fun day where we look at a few different CNC projects and what we can do with CNC Technology.

Learn DIY CNC Machining – Hobby CNC Plasma Cutter Videos Released

Ivan Irons has just completed the second phase of a new CNC video tutorial series on a CNC Stomp Pad Project that is shot in sequential steps. This final phase highlights the machining and finishing steps of his project. It is a step-by-step personal account of a CNC project from the design phase to the end product. It contains useful design and machining tips for all CNC enthusiasts.

The video tutorial series was made to take beginner to intermediate CNC hobbyists through the major steps in the CNC process. Ivan narrates each video with technical, yet easy to understand descriptions of the process along with useful personal tips from his CNC experience. Ivan’s video series starts out with the design phase, which includes all of the computer design, CAD, and CAM work. These first four video’s were released earlier in the month and now the conclusion of the project has been released with video’s 5-10 which highlight the CNC plasma cutting, grinding, and end product. If you missed the first four video’s they can be viewed at:
Here is a summary of video’s 5-10:

Video 5: In this video Ivan goes through Mach 3 to look over the g-code. He checks to see if we have any problems before we go to the CNC Plasma Cutter.

Video 6: Ivan heads out to the shop and do some work. He shows how he zeros out the cnc plasma cutter and starts cutting the aluminum stomp pad. Once he is done, the stomp pad gets looked over and he notes the slag or dross we will have to grind off next.

Video 7: In this video Ivan rough grinds the cnc stomp pad to remove the dross. It’s a rough grind because later we will use a DA Sander to smooth it all out.

Video 8: During this CNC Video Segment Ivan sands our CNC Stomp Pad with a Dual Action (DA) sander. The CNC Plasma Cut part then is taken over to a stand. Then Ivan starts to look at different traction spikes and how they will look.

Video 9: In this video the holes are drilled in the CNC Stomp Pad. The holes are drilled and then Ivan cleansthem out.
We bend the stomp pad while drilling and we must hammer it flat next.

Video 10:Here is the final video in the CNC Stomp Pad Tutorial Video Series. In this video, Ivan goes over the final assembly of the stomp pad. Then we watch as we used double sided tape to adhere it to the snowboard. Finally we take a look at some final photos of the CNC Stomp Pad on the Snowboard.

Ivan has created a unique and personalized video tutorial series that that leaves the viewer anticipating the next video in the series. The complete video series from start to finish can be viewed at: CNC Videos

This first release contains 4 design videos:

Video 1: An overview of the CNC Project that is shot in a tutorial sequence. Ivan walks you through the entire process by discussing the Design, CAD, CAM, Control, CNC Plasma Cutting and then final assembly phase.

Video 2: Ivan starts the design of the CNC Stomp Pad. He uses Adobe Illustrator to sketch it out and prepare something that a CNC Plasma Cutter could follow.

Video 3: This video starts with the design in CAD. It gets resized to specific dimensions and then is converted it into a DXF File.

Video 4: In this last design video, Ivan sets the CAM Programming parameters in SheetCam. Next the G-Code for the project gets finalized and you also get a quick look at some CNC Post-Processing.

Ivan has created a unique and personalized video tutorial series that that leaves the viewer anticipating the next video in the series. The second set of video’s showing the machining and final assembly is set to be released at the end of this month.  You can view the video’s at: CNC Videos
