How Much Does It Cost To Cnc Machine A Part?

It is a 304 stainless disk with a threaded hole.
Fairly large 58mm wide by 20mm high.
That’s about it.
For a quantity of 100 I’m getting a quote of 11.49 ea.
I know metals are expensive now, but As per the shop, only about $4.50 of that is the steel.
Seems like $7 ea. is A LOT for machining.
Is this too much to pay?
What is a fair price?

Without knowing the tolerances it’s not possible to comment on your quoted price.
The prices of materials, CNC equipment itself, programmers, operators, QC, packing, insurance, benefits, utilities, all add into that price. And gez- let the guy make a profit.
For even a small shop your $1149 sale is not going to be much of a money maker- probably they are hoping it leads to other work.

Sounds reasonable to me, I had a quote for a similar size part with one threaded hole, in similar quantity (what a coincidence), but of free machining steel not stainless, two or three years ago at $8 each.
Though to tell the truth it sounded too high to my boss, so I ended up making them on a manual machine.
