CNC PROBLEM #1

Power of the stepping motors versus the weight of tables.

The plans called for 1/4" thick gray PVC. I decided to go with Aluminum just to make it a little more rugged. ok … ok … the stock didn't cost me a dime. The downside to this is that the X,Y, and Z tables will be a bit heavier. So, I may need bigger stepper (axis) motors then the plans call for.

SOLVED

After discussing my situation with my vendor he assured me the 3 60 oz. motors I ordered would do the trick. Then he went on to tell me about some better ones. But, I still want to keep the price down a bit and $125.00 will suit me for now.
